A beautiful baby girl has been born to a couple, breaking an impressive record of nearly 140 years of only boys being born to a family.
Children are a precious blessing from the Lord in heaven. Parents and expectant mothers want their children to be born happy and healthy, and this is understandable. But before parents know their baby’s gender, they may secretly prefer a boy over a girl, or vice versa.
A Michigan woman desperately wanted a baby girl, but given her husband’s family history, the odds weren’t in her favor. Since 1885, no girl has been born to Andrew Clark’s family. According to people.
When Andrew informed his wife, Carolyn, about their family history, she thought he was joking at first.
“He was like, ‘Oh, we don’t have a girl, we don’t have a girl.’ she said. “And I’m like, ‘Okay.’ Like, I thought he was just making fun of me.”
Despite the odds against her, Carolyn said she was the one to break Andrew’s family’s baby girl drought. They started trying and eventually got pregnant. According to the magazine, Carolyn and Andrew are now the happy parents of a beautiful baby boy, Cameron. Maine News Center.
Andrew and Carolyn started trying again, but unfortunately this time their pregnancy ended in miscarriage in January 2021, with Carolyn saying it was the couple’s second child together.
A little over a year later, Andrew and Carolyn learned they were expecting another baby. This baby will definitely break the 138 year old record, right?
Couple shared good news of baby girl with cookies and frosting
Now, at the gender reveal party with Andrew, Carolyn explained how she used cookies to reveal the baby’s gender to her family.
“We did a countdown.” Carolyn said. “Three, two, one, we all took a bite.”
When I bit into it, pink frosting appeared on the inside of the baked good. Carolyn and Andrew were expecting a daughter.
On March 17th, Audrey Marie Clark was born into this world.
“I was just happy,” Carolyn said. “You know, she was here and healthy.”
Carolyn later added, “I got her.”
