Prankster Charged After Incident with Ariana Grande

Authorities have reportedly filed charges against prankster Johnson Wen for an incident involving Ariana Grande during a recent event in Singapore.

In a video circulated online, Wen, who is also known as Pajama Man, is seen jumping over a barrier and grabbing Grande during the premiere of “Wicked: For Good” on Thursday. He excitedly wrapped his arm around her, and then began jumping up and down. Co-star Cynthia Erivo quickly intervened, pushing him away. Grande appeared visibly startled by the unexpected encounter.

Wen announced on social media that he had been released after his arrest. However, the following day, he faced charges of public nuisance in Singapore court.

In a post on Instagram, Wen thanked Grande for “letting me ride the yellow carpet with you,” reflecting his playful but problematic behavior.

The video shows Grande and Erivo walking hand-in-hand alongside their co-stars, Michelle Yeoh and Jeff Goldblum, when Wen approached Grande. Security soon arrived to escort him away as onlookers expressed their disapproval.

This kind of behavior isn’t new for Wen. His social media accounts are filled with videos of similar antics. He has even posted clips appearing to put his arm around celebrities like Katy Perry and has boasted of disruptions at events involving The Chainsmokers and The Weeknd.

Wen has also claimed he ran onto a baseball field and even breached security during major sporting events, which raises questions about his understanding of boundaries.

According to court documents, Wen created a disturbance at the event, scheduled to plead guilty on November 17. Reports say he currently lacks legal representation. If convicted, he could face a fine of up to $1,540.
