Incident at Halsey Concert Shocks Fans

Fans of Halsey were left horrified after a disturbing event unfolded during her concert in Washington, D.C., last week.

While performing “There Somewhere” at the Anthem on November 4, the 31-year-old Grammy nominee had an unsettling encounter when a fan reached beneath her leather skirt. In footage from the event, Halsey was seen interacting with the audience at the front railing stage, when a concertgoer’s hand intrusively touched her thigh.

Things escalated as the fan slipped his hand further under her skirt, attempting to grope her. Thankfully, security swiftly stepped in and managed to intervene, swatting the fan’s hand away.

Throughout the ordeal, Halsey continued her performance, seemingly unaware of the incident taking place. Afterward, numerous fans took to social media, condemning the behavior as unacceptable.

In a tweet from one of Halsey’s fan accounts, they expressed disbelief: “I can’t believe I even have to say this. Please respect Halsey and don’t touch her or anyone else like her without her consent. You guys are incredible people.” This sentiment was echoed by others online, with various fans sharing their shock and dismay.

Fans reacted strongly, with one saying, “That’s awful,” while another mentioned, “Omg my stomach hurts.” The outcry included statements like, “That’s disgusting,” and calls for the offending fan to be banned from future shows. Another supporter added, “Oh…this person needs to be banned from ever attending Halsey’s show again. How disrespectful.”

Halsey, who is also known as Ashley Nicolette Frangipane, is currently on her Back to Badlands tour, having kicked off in Los Angeles on October 14 and set to conclude in Melbourne on February 20. Following her performance in D.C., she was scheduled to perform in Minneapolis on November 6 and Chicago on November 8, with another show planned in Chicago on November 9.

Recently, Halsey faced a “minor medical emergency” during a Boston performance and was admitted to Massachusetts General Hospital for observation. She reassured fans via her Instagram Story, stating, “Minor medical emergency, but I’m okay now and ready to rock tonight! But if I’m doing it at my own pace, that’s why!”

Halsey has dealt with multiple health issues over the years, including a diagnosis of lupus and some rare lymphoproliferative disorders.
