A fitting end to the Oakland/Las Vegas Athletics debacle. (LOL)
To say the least, things are tough for baseball in the Bay Area due to the situation surrounding the Oakland Athletics, who as we all know will eventually move to Las Vegas. 2025 They're playing in Sacramento this season and the ownership is handling it horribly. Oh, and the team is awful.
Some may describe the Athletics as “shit,” but if you're one of those people, you'll absolutely love this story. (RELATED: 'You ruined a great family reputation': Larry Beal slams 'serial miser' John Fisher after break-up letter)
Fanatics, the sportswear company known for making mistakes all the time, made a huge mistake with an Athletics hat that was sold on the official MLB website (now removed). It didn't take long for fans to notice and start making fun of the Athletics. The hat was featured in the New Era Shadow 9FIFTY Snapback series with multiple team logos printed on the front of the cap.
But Oakland… literally went ass. Check this out.
