Fans accuse Oscars being SEXIST over ‘Barbie’ nominations?

In a shocking development, the Oscars have taken a “sexist” turn and are no longer woke enough for the left.

As a result of the movie “Barbie,” star Margot Robbie was nominated for the role of producer in Mattel’s blockbuster, but was removed from the Best Actress category when nominations were announced.

Writer and director Greta Gerwig was nominated for Best Original Screenplay, but lost out on Best Director.

Meanwhile, Ryan Gosling was nominated for Best Supporting Actor for his role in the film.

Hillary Clinton decided to comment via social media, saying, “Greta and Margot, it may be tough not to take home the gold medal even though you won at the box office, but you have millions of fans who love you.” There is. There is more than enough for both of you.”

Lauren Chen found the story “ridiculous,” but the nomination shocked her too.

“Overall, I was surprised by the nominations for ‘Barbie’ for several reasons,” Chen says, noting that a large part of that reason was the number of accolades the film actually received.

“I never expected ‘Barbie’ to receive so much praise,” Chen says. “I just didn’t think it was very good, and I’m not talking about a political message. I just thought the movie was long, drawn-out, and clunky.”

“It’s okay, I feel like I’m sloping on this curve here,” she added.

As for whether Robbie and Gerwig not winning Oscars was a sexist decision, Chen doesn’t think so.

“Is this the patriarchy that the ‘Barbie’ movies warned us about coming back to haunt us, or is it just that Margot Robbie doesn’t have much material to show her depth as an actress, especially in the role?” Is it just that?” Chen asks.
