After Kevin Spacey was acquitted of nine charges of sexual assault, a two-part documentary was broadcast on Channel 4 in the UK with the title: spacey unmaskedprompting 10 men to accuse the two-time Oscar winner of sexual misconduct.
and that Getting worse [emphasis added]:
Between his numerous awards and witty remarks on talk shows, spacey unmasked Featuring testimonies from a group of men — identified only by first name — It spans 50 years, from Spacey’s teenage years in high school to his peak. tower on the sand Not just his fame, but his time at the Old Vic as well.
The infamous hit will be broadcast in the UK next week. Eventually, Max and his Discovery will announce their own broadcasts in the United States. Max was on a network called HBO, where he used to do the Lord’s work by airing documentaries that questioned prosecutions. HBO is now participating in the prosecution. What an autumn!
With a verified Xwitter account, Spacey answered.
“I will not sit around being bombarded with a one-sided ‘documentary’ about me by a moribund network desperately trying to gain ratings,” he wrote. “There is a proper channel to deal with the allegations against me. It’s not Channel 4.”
“Every time I was given time and proper forum to defend myself, the allegations failed under scrutiny and I was acquitted,” he added (accurately).
Spacey said: “I have given Channel 4 at least seven days to respond to the allegations made against me dating back 48 years and provide sufficient details to investigate these matters. “I have repeatedly requested this,” he said.
He said the network refused to give him the time he requested.
So…
Spacey has a nine-to-one decision in court, what will Channel 4’s kangaroo court decide? What will this hugely powerful company decide to do? Become judge, jury, and executioner in the court of public opinion.
This is despicable.
I have no qualms about this fight, other than my natural disgust when large corporations try to destroy individuals with unproven claims. Kevin Spacey is a Democrat. Why should he care? Why should we care? I’ll tell you why… It’s so despicable that a powerful corporation would ruin a person’s reputation and legacy with baseless accusations of criminal activity.
Five years ago, I wrote about this horrific development in a media that once prided itself on its mission to exonerate innocent people rather than prosecute or persecute them.
We used to be a society that grew up on top. A Tale of Alabama, The Crucible, The Lottery, The Scarlet Letter… Above all, we were taught to respect the presumption of innocence and to reject the tyranny of the mob and the majority.
…
HBO aired a four-hour documentary “convicting” Michael Jackson of the worst possible crime 10 years after his death, but it failed to do basic fact-checking.
This fascist plague will only get worse.
Just this week, former Nickelodeon director Dan Schneider filed a defamation lawsuit against Warner Bros. Discovery’s broadcasts. Quiet on the Set: The Dark Side of Children. He claims that “the documentary painted him in a false light, implying that he enabled the sexual exploitation of children.”

And here’s what it looked like a few days later…
Even after being proven innocent nine times in court, Channel 4 decided to end Kevin Spacey forever, without bringing him to court or allowing him to meet his accusers.
And I don’t want to hear this shit Where there’s smoke there’s fire. That is not the way a decent society should be run. Spacey is innocent and should be considered innocent unless a court finds him guilty, giving him all the rights that Channel 4 has denied him.
Guilty or not, this is an electronic lynching that threatens a man’s life and honor.
