An 18-year-old man was shot and killed in a drive-by shooting in Detroit Monday afternoon, and another young man was injured in the same tragic incident, police said.
Detroit police said the two young men were victims of a drive-by shooting, with an 18-year-old succumbing to his injuries and a 19-year-old hospitalized in stable condition.
Police said the shooting happened around 12:30 p.m. Monday outside an apartment complex near the intersection of Fenelon and Nevada streets on Detroit's east side.
It is unclear whether the two victims lived in the apartment complex.
