FBI agent carjacked in Washington, DC: Police

An FBI agent was carjacked Wednesday afternoon in Washington, D.C.

A federal officer was carjacked by two suspects in the 100 block of Northeast 12th Street around 3:45 p.m., a Metropolitan Police Department spokesperson said in a statement to Fox News Digital.

A spokesperson said the car was recovered in the 1000 block of Northeast 15th Street around 4:10 p.m.

An FBI spokesperson confirmed to FOX News Digital that an FBI employee was carjacked.

The FBI’s Washington Field Office and the Metropolitan Police Department’s Carjacking Task Force are investigating the incident.
