FBI Director Should Be Arrested if He Refuses to Provide Info on Assassination Attempts

House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-Louisiana) should order Capitol Security to arrest FBI Director Christopher Wray if he refuses to provide information about the assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump, Breitbart News Washington bureau chief Matthew Boyle said during an appearance on The Associated Press. War Room Monday.

Speaking about the second assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump, Boyle noted that the United States has still not come to terms with the first assassination attempt, which took place in Butler, Pennsylvania in July.

“In the Butler case, we know almost nothing about the shooter. We know almost nothing about Crooks, his history, his beliefs, and that's in part because of the FBI's cover-up,” he said, noting that the FBI has not provided that information. That's why Congress should “force Director Wray to testify every day until he starts providing that information publicly,” he continued.

“Because they know a lot more than they're telling us, and they know a lot more than the public knows about what happened,” he said, noting that Americans already know a lot about the second suspect, Ryan Wesley Routh, who was active on social media, obsessed with Ukraine, donated 19 times to the Democratic Party and had a Biden-Harris sticker on his car. Not only that, he was also interviewed by members of the mainstream media, where he repeated anti-Trump talking points.

“The would-be assassin of Donald Trump used one of Kamala Harris' favorite lines, which is, 'Democracy depends on voting,' end quote. How many times have you heard Kamala Harris say that? This guy said it too. So he's clearly someone who was influenced and inspired by these people and his view of the world was shaped by them,” Boyle said.

Despite more information now being released, concerns remain, with Boyle noting that the lead agent in the FBI's Miami field office leading the investigation has a documented history of anti-Trump bias, raising “very serious concerns.”

“The FBI has ordered him to delete his social media accounts, etc. There are emails and documents that are very concerning about this individual's character, and the individual who is leading the FBI investigation is very troubling. Again, I think Congress can take steps right now to look more closely at what's going on here,” he said, stressing that this is a matter of safety for Trump and his family.

“This also comes against the backdrop of emerging evidence that intelligence officials have warned senior officials around President Trump that United States foreign adversaries, specifically Iran, are actively targeting President Trump and Senator J.D. Vance, according to CNN,” he said, explaining that here “very serious steps need to be taken at some point” but that they have not been taken.

“Once again, the FBI is still withholding information about Thomas Matthew Crooks, the perpetrator and central figure in the Butler murders two months ago,” Boyle said. “It's been two months now.”

Boyle said it was time to summon FBI Director Christopher Wray “to Congress and provide information again.”

“The Speaker of the House should order Capitol Security to arrest the FBI director and hold him in the Capitol until he provides information,” Boyle added. “This is a matter of life and death. This is a matter of national security, and tough situations call for tough measures.”

Boyle said the fact remains that the FBI is still hiding this information from the public, adding that “Speaker Johnson has an obligation to take immediate action.”

“And it is incumbent on Republicans in Congress to take drastic measures to keep President Trump safe,” he argued.
