FBI Releases New Images in Nancy Guthrie Case

FBI Director Kash Patel revealed surprising new images on February 10, showing a masked individual near the home of Nancy Guthrie, the mother of “Today” host Nancy Guthrie.

These never-before-seen photos were shared on X, just a day after the second ransom deadline for Nancy’s life had lapsed. Patel noted that the FBI, along with the Pima County Sheriff’s Department, has been collaborating with private sector partners to recover video footage from Guthrie’s home, which might have been lost or corrupted. “The video was retrieved from residual data in backend systems,” he mentioned.

The newly released images seemed to show a masked and gloved person interacting with the camera positioned outside of Guthrie’s residence. Patel commented, “As of this morning, law enforcement uncovered these previously inaccessible images depicting an armed individual appearing to tamper with the camera at Nancy Guthrie’s front door on the day she went missing.”

Nancy was reported missing on February 1 by the Pima County Sheriff’s Department (PCSD). Authorities later discovered a blood trail outside her home, along with an alleged ransom note demanding $6 million in cryptocurrency, which had a deadline that has now passed.

Savannah, presumably a family member, posted the images with a hopeful message, stating, “We believe she is still alive,” and urged the public for assistance.

“Bring her home. Anyone with information, please contact 1-800-CALL-FBI (1-800-225-5324) or the Pima County Sheriff’s Department at 520-351-4900,” she said.

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $50,000 for any information that could lead to Nancy’s return. Currently, the PCSD has not named any suspects or persons of interest in the ongoing investigation.
