Police Investigate Philadelphia Home Linked to Missing Women
PHILADELPHIA — Authorities have once again returned to a residence in the Olney neighborhood of Philadelphia, gathering various items, including “glass vials,” a vacuum cleaner, workout gear, and more, as shown in recent photographs.
This ongoing investigation follows reports from the police stating they retrieved over a million digital pieces of evidence from the site, which has been referred to as a “house of horrors” in some news accounts.
The property was formerly owned by Raymond “RC” Horsch, a pornographer who passed away last year at 82.
The investigation reportedly aims to explore connections to at least seven women who have been reported missing. Dr. Kris Mohandie, a forensic psychologist, suggests this case might uncover a broader network potentially involved in the production of disturbing “snuff films.”
Investigators documented evidence with a partially visible label that mentioned items like “glass vials” and other assorted materials. Monday saw police removing items such as a rowing machine and a vacuum cleaner from the premises.
A spokesperson for the Philadelphia police commented that the investigation remains “active and ongoing,” asserting that updates will be made public as they emerge.
Raymond Horsch had built a career around sadistic themes, and evidence retrieved from his home has sparked serious concerns about possible links to real-life disappearances. The police are reported to have found shocking items during their searches, including videos believed to depict several missing women, along with a mysterious drum of chemicals tied to the water supply and multiple urns potentially containing human remains.
Following the June arrest of Eugene Horsch, the 44-year-old son of Raymond, police have paid multiple visits to the house. Eugene faces charges related to drugs, firearms, and forgery but has not been charged in connection with the missing women as of yet. However, it is noted that during his arrest, a woman accompanying him had an identification for one of the missing individuals.
At least four of the seven women reported missing have been identified through images from the investigation, with some names already released by authorities. Notably, Maribel Fresses, who disappeared in 2018, and Gabrielle Aramando have been confirmed in these findings.
Other women identified include Blair Tonzelli, last seen in February 2023, and Eugene’s ex-wife, Amy McHale, who vanished in 2016. Additionally, Nicole “Nikki” Fusaro went missing in July 2019.
In a grim twist, Dr. Mohandie has pointed to the possibility that Raymond Horsch’s connection to the adult film industry might hint at more than just sadistic tendencies; it could indicate a profit-driven motive surrounding the distribution of such films.
RC Horsch had a history of producing methamphetamines and authored multiple sexually explicit and violent novels. One of his books, “Empathy,” even discusses how to dispose of a body using boiling chemicals, showcasing the disturbing nature of his work.
