Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Chair Brendan Kerr is asking the CEOs of Alphabet and Google to answer questions about possible discrimination against faith-based programming.

Carr then asked for a briefing “about the role of virtual MVPD in the latest media market and the carriage negotiation process for YouTube TV, including the potential role of perspective-based discrimination.”
He then asked to contact his office by Tuesday and set up a briefing.

In response, Deadline cited a YouTube spokesperson. “We will reiterate the opportunity to briefly describe the FCC on YouTube TV's subscription service and the lack of a policy that bans religious content, welcoming strategic business decisions based on factors such as user demand, operational costs, and financial terminology.”
In November, Kerr urged big tech platforms to defeat “censored cartels,” Breitbart News reported at the time.
