Police Arrest Woman for Disturbing Behavior in Altamonte Springs

In Altamonte Springs, police apprehended a woman accused of committing a bizarre series of offenses involving human feces. The situation reportedly unfolded over the course of nearly a week, startling residents in the area.

Fifty-year-old Alexis Webber was taken into custody early Tuesday morning after she was seen disposing of trash in her own front yard. It seems she wasn’t shy about sharing her, um, troubles with the people around her.

Residents of the Spring Oaks neighborhood had been finding feces in cars, mailboxes, and yards. Surveillance footage eventually led police to identify Webber as the culprit referred to by some as the “Krapp robber.”

Yvette Gomez recounted her shock when her husband found feces all over the driver’s side of their work van. “When he texted me about it, I just couldn’t believe it,” she said. “I mean, who does that?” She ended up providing the surveillance footage, which conveniently captured someone resembling Webber near their vehicle.

Gomez mentioned that she often saw Webber while out jogging. “Looking back, the video definitely shows it was her,” she added, perhaps still a bit incredulous about the whole situation.

While only one incident has officially linked Webber to this peculiar behavior, residents suspect she could be behind several others, including an incident over the weekend at a neighborhood food pantry, where feces were reported again. One immensely shocked local expressed their discontent, saying it was “just horrible.”

John Battle, Vice President of the Springs Oaks Homeowners Association, noted that residents banded together to alert law enforcement. “If someone had told me someone was doing this to their car in Florida, I honestly might not have believed it,” he remarked.

There seems to be a general agreement among residents that without their collaboration, this “fecal vandalism” might have gone unchecked. After all, community leadership is crucial in addressing such odd occurrences, right?
