Federal Manhunt Captures Suspect Charged with Assaulting Alina Habba’s Office

Federal Investigation Leads to Arrest in New Jersey Assault Case

A federal investigation has resulted in the arrest of a 51-year-old man allegedly involved in an attack on the office of New Jersey Assistant State Attorney Alina Haba earlier this week.

The arrested individual is Keith Michael Lisa. Attorney General Pam Bondi announced this early Saturday morning on X, expressing gratitude to the FBI, the U.S. Marshals Service, and the Department of Homeland Security. She emphasized, “No one will get away with blackmailing or threatening our great United States Attorneys or destroying their offices.”

In a post on X, Haba mentioned, “We got him,” stating, “This time justice will judge him.”

Reports indicate that Lisa appeared at the Peter W. Rodino Federal Building in Newark, New Jersey, on Wednesday, armed with a baseball bat. Following being denied entry, he left but later returned, proceeding to the U.S. Attorney’s Office where he allegedly damaged federal property.

A poster released by the FBI classified him as “dangerous,” noting he stands at 6 feet 3 inches and weighs over 200 pounds.

Lisa allegedly reached the seventh floor of the building and began to shout and vandalize property, although Haba was not present in her office at the time.

According to the FBI poster, a federal arrest warrant was issued for Lisa on November 13, 2025. He faces charges related to possessing a dangerous weapon on a federal facility and vandalizing federal property.

The news outlet “Patch” identified Lisa as a former Mahwah, New Jersey resident who had been registered to vote in Bergen County in 2017.

Details regarding his motive for wanting to meet Haba remain unclear.

In a previous X post, Haba declared, “I will not be intimidated by radical lunatics to do my job.”

Bondi echoed this sentiment, stating that violence or threats against federal employees will not be tolerated, while noting a concerning trend of extremism directed at law enforcement across the nation.

Haba has been a prominent lawyer and campaign agent for Donald Trump during the 2024 presidential election cycle. She previously served as deputy U.S. attorney for the District of New Jersey starting in March.

The incident has drawn attention from Republicans, who perceive it as part of a broader pattern of intimidation from the left against those associated with Trump and his policies.
