‘Felt Like I Was Watching Bravo TV’

As “President Elle” of Barstool Sports, Dave Portnoy has seen more than a significant portion of the fight and disagreement. But what he saw between President Trump and Ukrainian leader Voldimi Zelensky on Friday made him think he was “watching Bravo TV.”

Portnoy dedicated the entire video to his collapse of strange disagreements among world leaders that began after comments on accepting diplomacy.

“If you're here for a pizza review, just keep it moving,” Portnoy told listeners. “But… I had to talk about this meeting with Zelenskyy. I posted on Twitter. [Friday]. I said [it was] The most surreal thing I've ever seen in politics. It felt like I was watching Bravo TV. ”

Portnoy correctly observed that everything in the meeting seemed to go well until the end. He also outlined the camp's stance in favor of Trump and those who oppose him.

“If you're anti-Trump, you're basically saying, 'This is the worst day in American history,'” Portnoy said. “We are basically Russia and the dictator, and we are the same as Putin and evil. And if you're a pro-trump, you're like, “In the end, someone is stabbing American citizens, American taxpayers.” ”

The founders of Barstool's sports focused on the Biden administration's diplomatic failure.

“The last administration, Biden, has [called] Putin a Killer, the dictator, everything Zelensky says,” Portnoy explained. “And what did it get us? Ukraine has been given hundreds of billions of dollars and they are not really nearing ending this war.”

In another moment, Portnoy spent quite a bit of time criticizing Zelensky for not properly dressing up to meet President Trump in his oval office.

“I can say anything about Trump,” Portnoy explained. “He personally takes signs of disrespect. He's so much about respecting other things. Zelenskyy appears, and he wears his sweatshirt and his conventional clothes. It essentially says, “I'm at war. I don't have time to play politics or anything else.”

“To me, this is stupid. We're at war, and you're beginning to meet the new administration,” he added. “And that's a sign that Trump disregards the same level of respect as an oval office that he thinks fits. ”

Additionally, Portnoy emphasized the need to show “respect” to the country that Ukraine did so much to help them.

“They should pay tribute and appreciate American taxpayers. They don't need to continue to put this bill in place. But I respect or understand Trump who doesn't want to slander Putin. The last administration gave us every chance they could get. It didn't have us anywhere. Trump has made it very clear that he wants to be diplomacy. He wants to end his debts. He wants to end this war.”

Portnoy said: For example, I'm not going to get a SteamRoll to Zelenskyy at the expense of completing the transaction. And if that means you have to throw some flowers at Putin, that's it. ”
