In the new Wonder Woman comic book, the protagonist is trapped inside her own mind as a traditional Christian wife who suffers verbal abuse from her husband.

“I shouldn’t have asked. Have fun. There’s plenty to distract you here. Anything to take your mind off of you,” she said bitterly.
“You can’t cook and you don’t know when to shut up, but damn, you look like you’ll be fine in that dress,” the husband said as he hugged the emotionally damaged woman.
Ultimately, Wonder Woman escapes from her mental prison, but not before another painful exchange with her husband is written.while sending her spouse into a spiral burn his eggsWonder Woman mentally struggles with more Bible verses.
Titus 2:3-5 is quoted in the cartoon as, “Women likewise should behave in a godly manner; neither should they be slandered nor should they be slaves to much wine.”
“They teach what is good and train young women to love their husbands and children.”
In her final interaction, she scolds her husband for not listening to her.
After all, Wonder Woman’s mother appear in her hallucinations To remind me that I am a strong and powerful woman who can accomplish anything.
Inspired by her mother, Wonder Woman breaks out of her frame and holds the villain by the throat while screaming, “I don’t believe in your God!”
and dialogue The story ends with both worlds telling us that Wonder Woman’s will, unlike the strongest of men, can never be broken.
In the world of trad, Wonder Woman’s husband is left with a farewell letter from his estranged wife.
“Steve. My mom is here. I’m leaving with her. I’m not coming back.”

Steve is revealed to have a stunned expression on his face as he reads the note. Her caption added: “We pushed her further than any man has ever been pushed.”
