Ferrari Partners with WHOOP for Enhanced Performance
In the world of Formula 1, enhancing performance is crucial. Teams constantly seek ways to boost everything from the cars to driver skills just to shave off even a tenth of a second on the track.
Ferrari is now elevating this effort through a new collaboration with WHOOP. This human performance company has recently been named Ferrari’s official partner for health and fitness wearables. The WHOOP logo will prominently feature on team apparel and Ferrari cars this season. Team members and drivers will receive WHOOP devices to gain insights into their health, recovery, and overall fitness.
This partnership includes a unique integration where Ferrari’s medical team will work alongside the WHOOP Performance Science team. Their goal is to enhance physical efficiency and resilience across the Scuderia Ferrari HP organization. Together, they aim to address the key aspects of health and fitness through a specialized human optimization program.
Dr. Kristen Holmes, WHOOP’s Global Head of Human Services, remarked, “This partnership goes far beyond just a logo on a car. By incorporating WHOOP within our teams, we can provide real-time insights into recovery, sleep, stress, and resilience. This enables the Scuderia Ferrari HP drivers and the entire organization to adapt more swiftly, manage fatigue effectively, and maintain health even in the extreme pressures of this sport.”
Lorenzo Giorgetti, Chief Racing Revenue Officer at Ferrari, added, “Our collaboration with WHOOP extends our data-driven focus beyond automotive innovation. By merging our high-performance expertise with WHOOP’s insights into human health, we’re taking another step toward continuous improvement and innovation. This approach will benefit our teams both on and off the track.”
Later this week, Ferrari will unveil its new contender for the upcoming F1 season, the SF-26.
