Fire breaks out at Disney World’s Epcot, forcing visitors to evacuate from theme park ride

According to the report, a fire broke out at Epcot Park in Walt Disney World on Saturday, forcing visitors to evacuate from the “Remy's Ratatouille Adventure” ride.

Dark black smoke rose from the attraction at the French Pavilion at Orlando Theme Park, according to Fox35 Orlando.

Disney officials say park participants were safely evacuated from a relatively new mouse-themed vehicle in which a fire began in the area behind the scenes, the report said.

Social media users across the theme park shared a video of Ploom, taking over much of the cloudless blue Florida sky.

Fox35 cited local officials and reported that people were injured and the fire disappeared soon.

Officials say Epcot was in the middle of hosting the International Flower and Garden Festival when the fire first began.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.

Disney did not respond to requests for comment on the post.
