Inappropriate Conduct Involving Fire Chief and His Wife
Police reports indicate that the wife of a fire chief allegedly exposed herself to a 14-year-old junior firefighter, expressing a desire for sexual relations when he turns 18.
Details from court documents reveal that Nathan Turner, the former chief of the Fair Oaks Volunteer Fire Department in Leet Township, Pennsylvania, along with his wife, Stephanie Ann Turner, was arrested following the discovery of alarming text messages that hinted at inappropriate behavior between them. It seems investigators stumbled upon these messages during a different investigation, raising serious concerns.
The young firefighter regarded the Turners as parental figures until, according to the documents, the situation shifted when the wife made advances and ultimately suggested sexual contact.
In addition to the troubling interactions, she reportedly walked around without a top when the boy visited their home. At one point, she even pulled his pants down, exposing him, and later joked about it with her husband, according to the records.
In a text exchange, Nathan apparently remarked on how his wife had “literally taken his pants off in front of him,” to which she reportedly responded, “Yes, I did.” This conversation surfaced when Nathan’s phone was confiscated as part of an investigation into a separate theft case linked to his past employment.
Both Nathan and Stephanie Turner now face several charges, including corrupting a minor, unlawful contact with a minor, indecent exposure, and more.
The fire department has refrained from commenting extensively on the allegations but acknowledged their seriousness, describing them as “alarming.”
Following these events, the Fair Oaks Volunteer Fire Department stated that Mr. Turner and his wife are no longer involved with the organization. Nathan is projected to resign as director in August 2025 and has not participated in any departmental activities since his resignation.
