Fired government watchdog: 'So, Friday night I got an email'

Former Interior Inspector Mark Green Brat, a former inspector, explained the moment he learned that he was fired in an interview on Monday.

“So, on Friday night, I received an email on a work phone and checked it,” said Green Blut to CNN's Kasie Hunt. “And I said the White House's notice, and I knew it was not good.”

Green Blat remembered Trump's first administration, when two inspectors were fired, when the news was issued on Friday night. He remembered them as the “Friday night massacre”.

“So they were the slaughter of Friday nights and Friday nights,” And saying, “And to receive e -mail from the White House, I told the White House at 7:30 on Friday night, it was not good. I knew.

“So, I opened it, and in light of changes in priority, you know, know, you know, you know Green Brat, who said that he was, came into effect on your two -letter e -mail and thanked your service.

Green Blat, which was initially nominated for Trump by Trump in 2019, was one of the number of inspectors expelled in government agencies late on Friday.

The expelled watchdog came from the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of State, the Energy Bureau, the Housing Urban Development Bureau (HUD), and the retirement.

Green Blat said that he had no chance to clean his office and was not sure when he had the opportunity to return.

“No, it's actually,” he said when he was asked about his office. “My email has been cut off and I don't know what will happen to myself. I have been there for five and a half years, and we will see it.”

Green Blat said he didn't know why he was removed. He said that as far as he knew, all the inspector had received similar emails that had been quoted by “change in priority” as a basis for dismissal.

“No, I don't know,” he said. “And it was just a change in the priority in the e -mail. I understand other deleted IGs. Our 17 or 18 people are roof roof Rub But as far as I know, we have received the same email as we have changed.
