She will have a toast to celebrate it.
Meghan Markle is reportedly planning to launch a rosé wine under her lifestyle label, American Riviera Orchard, which could bring in millions of dollars.
The pink wine is said to be the first to be sold to the public, although the Duchess teased two other products from the new brand earlier this year.
by Daily Mail, “It makes a lot of commercial sense for Meghan’s first product to be wine,” he said, adding that it would fetch much more profit than other cheaper products.
“As a commodity, wine is far more marketable and economically profitable than the humble jam,” the publication states.
Markle previously hinted at selling jam jars from her American Riviera Orchard Collection.
The former actress sent samples of the jelly to a number of her celebrity friends, including Mindy Kaling and Kris Jenner.
According to the Daily Mail, Markle is known for her love of a good rosé wine, and said that it was her drink of choice on her first date with Prince Harry in 2016.
“Like any good California influencer, she has a thing for pink wine and is also a fan of Instagrammer favorite drink, ‘froze,’ which is rosé wine frozen into a slushy liquid that’s sweetened with strawberries and powdered sugar,” the magazine claims.
Markle isn’t the first celebrity to launch a wine line, with other stars making fortunes by bottling the alcohol.
Cameron Diaz, Kylie Minogue, Brad Pitt and Francis Ford Coppola have all launched their own wine lines and have already amassed large net worths.
According to the Daily Mail, Markle will also be releasing a drinkware line to coincide with the release of the rosé wine.
“The initial release will also include drinking and serving tableware, bar essentials and other products related to hosting and entertaining,” they wrote, citing an inside source. “Expect classic, yet pricey, style items.”
Markle has not confirmed the reports about the rose wine.
Meanwhile, it is thought the Duchess will also be launching a dog biscuit range as part of her American Riviera brand.
Last week, a close friend of hers shared a jar of dog treats that she received from the former actress.
The timing of the dog biscuits’ debut attracted attention as it came just hours before Markle’s estranged sister-in-law, Princess Kate, made her first public appearance since being diagnosed with cancer in March.
