Five Shot in DC After ‘Dispute Between Known Parties’

Five people were shot and killed in northeast Washington, D.C., at 9 p.m. Friday night after a “dispute between known parties,” according to the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Police Department.

WUSA9 noticed Two of the five victims were taken to the hospital by ambulance, while the rest were transported by themselves. The Metropolitan Police Department said the shooting victims were “conscious and breathing.”

“Police said all involved knew each other and the shooting resulted from a struggle between them.” washington post reported. Police do not know the cause of the conflict.

WTOP pointed out In 2024, 190 people were killed in Washington, D.C., and there were 496 carjackings.
