Five Takeaways from Fourth Day of Hunter Biden’s Gun Trial

Hunter Biden’s gun trial has uncovered some more shocking information on its fourth day of proceedings.

The trial is expected to last about two weeks in total and reveal damaging information about the dysfunctional Biden family.

The trial is scheduled to resume at 9 a.m. Friday when the two remaining defense witnesses, an FBI chemist and a DEA narcotics expert, will testify. After that, the prosecution is scheduled to take a break. decided Hunter is expected to take the stand, according to CNN.

On the fourth day of the trial, the following emerged:

  1. Hunter Biden’s missing revolver went missing after Hallie Biden testified that she threw it in a trash can behind a grocery store in Wilmington, Delaware in 2018. Hallie is Hunter’s ex-husband and the widow of his brother.
  2. The prosecutor asked Harry how Hunter knew the gun was missing, to which Harry responded, “I didn’t tell him. I was just going to pretend it wasn’t me,” according to a court reporter.
  3. 80-year-old man Said Jurors heard Hunter’s gun was found in a trash can, and a state trooper confirmed the gun belonged to Hunter.
  4. Harry testified about Hunter’s text messages. One message from October 13, 2018 in particular seemed important to the prosecution, as it concerned a “dealer named Mookie” in Wilmington. A second message from October 14 was also shown to the jury, in which Hunter wrote that he was “sleeping in his car smoking crack,” a court reporter noted. NBC reported that the text messages were the “most glaring evidence” against Hunter. Prosecutors said the text messages showed that Hunter had been using drugs in October, the year of the incident.
  5. Indictment Revealed NBC News reported, “After investigators seized the laptop, the data was passed through a team of filters to prevent any privilege issues. All privileges belonged to Hunter Biden, and the defense was provided with a complete image of the hard drive, meaning the defense has a lot of evidence from the laptop that the prosecution does not have.”

Hunter is charged with one count of making a false statement regarding the purchase of a firearm, one count of possession of a firearm by an unlawful user or addict of a controlled substance, and one count of making a false statement regarding information required to be kept by a federally licensed firearms dealer.

Hunter was using crack cocaine when he bought the gun, according to many of the photos he left on his abandoned laptop. The gun was found discarded in a public trash can next to the school. The Secret Service is reportedly involved in the investigation.
