Flavor Fluff claims his festive spirit was ruined after he was allegedly chased out of the Backstreet Boys' dressing room at the Rockefeller Christmas Tree Lighting in New York City on Wednesday night by NBC officials.
The extravagant holiday event featured numerous celebrities welcoming the Christmas season, including popular boy bands and event host Kelly Clarkson.
However, despite the upbeat cheers the event brought, the rapper claimed he was encountered by security while he was backstage to meet with the Backstreet Boys.
“It’s a weird feeling…I was invited to the Rockefeller Tree Lighting tonight and escorted out to meet my sons…Backstreet Boys…and I was backstage in the dressing room…a security guard came up to me. The newspaper has reached out to NBC and representatives for the Backstreet Boys for comment.
Flavor Fluff, whose real name is William Drayton Jr., said the band spoke for him to the security guard, but later he watched the 74-foot Norway Spruce light up the Manhattan sky. He was reportedly seen watching from the audience.
