A 10-year-old boy who was riding in a relative's car without permission during the evening rush hour crashed and suffered minor injuries Thursday on a freeway near St. Petersburg, Florida.
The child skidded his pickup truck on Interstate 275 before crashing into a guardrail, the Florida Highway Patrol said. Fox 13.
The child suffered minor injuries, but the passenger of the pickup truck was not injured.
Police have not said why the child was driving the car.

There have been no reports of charges against the child or his family.

Last September, a 10-year-old boy from Northport, Florida, and his 11-year-old sister drove three hours in their mother's car before being found in Alachua, more than 320 miles away.
The car was stolen and the children went missing.
