Florida Attorney General James Usmiere said he will continue his investigation into influencer brothers Andrew and Tristan Tate, who were accused of trafficking in Romania.
“Escape from our jurisdiction will not stop Florida's ongoing criminal investigations,” Usmeyer wrote. Friday's Statement x.
“We will continue to work with law enforcement agencies and partners around the world to combat human trafficking and sexual abuse,” he added.
Andrew Tate said Thursday that he would leave the state for Las Vegas after describing Usmeyer's investigation as “absolute communism.”
He and his brothers have double citizenship in the US and the UK, but have denied allegations of criminals who previously owed travel restrictions for the two brothers. The brothers denied the allegations against them.
“Thank you Florida, you were very welcome. I'll see you in a few years <3," Andrew wrote post x.
“The first thing the manager at a hotel in Vegas said was, “I'm sorry Florida treated you that way when they first got home. They disappointed everyone. Your hotel suite is being composed,” he wrote. Separate posts.
The two arrived in the Sunshine State to disappoint Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) and Rep. Brion Donald (R-Fla.), who denounced past actions.
“Florida doesn't know how you welcome it and that kind of act isn't in the air, and how it came to this, we weren't involved, we weren't informed,” Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) told reporters last week.
Donald reflected those feelings.
“I think these allegations need to be fully investigated, and we're going from there. The important thing is not tolerating women's trafficking, or frankly, women's abuse, Donald said Tuesday.
