When the NCAA Tournament begins, Florida Gators are the top seed, and history is full of examples that prove you will win one of them, but it proves that they don't guarantee anything to you…
Florida has come to Tournament Hot after taking care of Tennessee relatively easily in the SEC tournament finals, and many odds makers believe Todd Golden's team will win everything.
Think again in case you think I'm exaggerating… Fanduel Sportsbook friends Reduce all nets with the second best odds gator at +350. Only Duke is in front of them at +280. Auburn line up right after +550 in Florida. It makes sense that the best teams in the meeting have strong shots compared to their main goals.
You may find my opinion you agree with, but I always like to reaffirm this kind of thing and prefer to do so to people who know more than me. Thankfully, this week he sat down with Ian Eagle and Clark Kellogg to discuss the entire tournament and partnership with Wendy.
Clark Kellogg: “I think Florida is the most complete team on the field. Looking at the players in the backcourt, frontcourt, depth, versatility, and two-way, I think they were just as impressive as Auburn.
Ian Eagle: “In this tournament, if you have good elite guard play, you can win the whole thing… and I think that's how the Gators are getting closer to this.
Ian touched on guard play, and Florida is taking it seriously at this point. Walter Clayton Jr. is one of the nation's top guards, with the Gators rolling deep with Will Richard, Craig Brown and Donnell Harvey as other options. That's the necessary element for Ian's point.
Florida will be Friday at 6:50pm ET and Ian will actually be calling for that game with Bill Laferry, Grant Hill and Tracy Wolfson. You can see it on TNT (thank you didn't have to make the mandatory trutv that everyone has at this time of year).
As pointed out, Ian and Clark were made available thanks to Wendy's and were pretty excited about it. I wonder why they couldn't become one, Wendy's is delicious.
As the official burger for March Madness®, Wendy's guarantees millions of beef will be in the action with the $1 Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger and the $1 Double Stack™, allowing viewers to join the action to fuel the entire tournament with additional purchases only on the arena offer.
Thank you to Ian, Clark and Wendy's for the time being. Good luck to the Gators.
