“You’re talking about a shift in voter registration of more than a million people,” DeSantis told Fox News’ Maria Bartiromo, noting that the old numbers show that among registered voters in 2018, Republicans were the Democratic opponent. “I think part of it is the local reaction that in Florida people are more likely to switch from Democrat to Republican and independent to Republican than vice versa.
