This week, a Florida elementary school teacher took a leave of absence after footage of a newly released bodycam revealed her “deplorable” behavior while attending a rough January house party.
Carly Anderson, 45, was pulled out of the classroom after her arrest was allegedly arrested at a wild Jan. 19 house party at Elementary School Principal Elizabeth Hill Brodigan’s Cocoa Beach home on January 19. Fox 35 Orlando Report.
A drunken Anderson is seen cursing and arguing the officials of the Cocoa Beach Police Station in front of the house, voluntarily saying she is a teacher and that she was at an inappropriate party. The video has been displayed.
“You know that F-K, I put in that car, is a teacher,” Anderson cried out to the officer, footage showed. “I was wandering around here at this party. Do I mean F-K? What’s wrong with them?” Anderson said the child was loaded into an ambulance, according to Fox 35.

After watching the footage, BCPS board member Matt Sugis called her alleged behavior “deplorable” and “disgusting.”
The district said Monday that Anderson argued that he was eligible to teach again as felony child abuse charges were reduced to misdemeanor disorderly conduct and disorderly addiction charges. Fox News.
“The state lawyer has cleared the felony charges with Carly Anderson. The Department of Children and Family Services also cleaned up Ms Anderson. She is a certified teacher and as of today she has returned to the classroom.”
