Florida TikTok 'Grey Hat Hacker' charged with revealing personal information of women

Florida TikTok Creator Arrested for Allegedly Exposing Women’s Personal Information

A TikTok creator from Florida, identifying himself as a “demonologist” and “Grey Hat Hacker,” has found himself back in jail following accusations of revealing women’s private details online and claiming he could track their movements via their phones.

Mark Stephen Asea, 36, from Port St. Lucie, was taken into custody at St. Lucie County Jail on September 30. He faces a felony charge related to offenses against computer users, with a bond set at $35,000, as detailed in sheriff’s office documents.

This arrest has reopened a criminal case that was previously closed. Asea had initially been arrested in April on charges related to stalking and computer offenses, but those charges were dismissed in May. Subsequently, a new charge surfaced in September, according to court records.

The police affidavit mentioned two women whose personal information appeared in Asea’s TikTok posts. One of the women, who had sought Asea’s help for a tech issue, reported that he publicly detailed her devices and spending habits in a video viewed by detectives.

In a transcript included in the affidavit, Asea is quoted as saying, “Let’s talk about your actual password. How about we talk about the last 10 purchases you made online?” The woman confirmed that her password was shared exclusively in a private TikTok group chat, where Asea wasn’t a member. She speculated he might have infiltrated the group with a fake account.

It’s important to note that no one in that chat had the right to disclose her information, and she remained puzzled about how Asea could have acquired her phone identification number or banking details.

The second woman involved reported that her concerns began following what she classified as a routine tech support request. She allowed Asea to remotely access her computer in October 2025 to address an application issue. However, months later, Asea purportedly claimed he had placed a virus on the computer during a time when she was away, allowing him to access her private information unbeknownst to her.

She emphasized that she didn’t give permission for such access. Later, a photograph from a private Telegram message on her phone allegedly appeared in one of Asea’s TikTok videos. While Asea insisted this image came from a WhatsApp conversation, the woman provided evidence indicating the source was indeed her Telegram messages.

Reports from police also highlight instances of Asea boasting about tracking her location through her phone.

“Thanks to the GPS within her phone, but what did I do?” he is said to have remarked in a video, according to the affidavit.

Authorities claim that Asea has posted over 100 TikTok videos mentioning one particular woman, sometimes sharing as many as six in a single day. Additionally, he allegedly secured a website featuring a photo of her getting a tattoo.

Asea’s TikTok profile describes him with titles such as “Demonologist,” “Clairsentient,” “Empath,” “PTSD,” “Grey Hat Hacker,” and “Woodsman.” In an earlier affidavit from April, his biography included claims of being a “former satanist” and a “cybersecurity engineer.”

This summer, there was also a separate civil stalking case involving Asea. A temporary injunction was granted to a woman in July, but it was eventually dissolved, and the case was dismissed on September 8.

On September 24, prosecutors reopened the criminal case and filed a new charge alleging that Asea accessed a computer or electronic device without authorization. It’s unclear why the previous charges were dropped or what instigated the renewed prosecution.

Now, months after those initial charges were dismissed, Asea is facing a new felony charge related to computer access. He’s set to be arraigned on November 19.

The authorities have reached out to TikTok for a comment on this situation.
