Lee County Sheriff’s Office Submitted Videos A video of the bizarre incident was captured on the body camera of an officer who responded to the scene and posted to Facebook.

Spokeswoman Julie Martin said suspect Christy Lee Turman, 37, told police she was going to steal a car from a Tampa dealership’s parking lot to make the transaction legal.
The video also included audio of Turman’s call to police.
“They’re trying to steal a car that’s not legally mine!” she yells. “So everyone report them! I’m reporting them!”
Police said when they arrived at the dealership, they saw Turman get out of the driver’s seat of a Toyota Corolla. Video shows her holding a cellphone and following police commands.
Martin said Turman told police he was training in the Black Ops game to steal cars.
Police arrested the woman and charged her with trespassing. Records show she was arrested at 1:18 a.m. Friday.
Martin noted Turman had an extensive criminal record, including petty theft, robbery and aggravated assault.
Lee County Sheriff’s Office Records online Turman remained in custody as of Thursday. Her bail was set at $5,000. Police identified her as a “transient resident.”
