A Florida couple is on the run in a heinous shoplifting case in which a woman intentionally pooped on the floor of a Family Dollar store, while her accomplice took a shopping cart filled with hundreds of dollars worth of detergent to the store. Police said he fled from.
The suspected thieves are now known as “Mr. Clean” and “Ms. Dookie” Polk County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement Thursday.
“The suspects are a male and a female, and they played different roles in conspiring to commit the retail theft,” Sheriff Grady Judd said in a statement.
“It’s a completely different role.”
Police say the shoplifting suspects entered the Mulberry store around noon on Dec. 18, 2024, and began loading a cart with approximately $500 worth of merchandise, including products from Gain, Tide and Clorox.
Police say the woman distracted the employee by dropping a deuce on the floor as a hooded co-conspirator calmly walked past the register with an overloaded cart.
According to police footage, the man was captured on surveillance video inside the store, grinning and running out of the store at the sight of dirty excrement coming out the front door, as employees looked on.
Police say employees were left behind to clean up the rotten mess as the shameless couple drove off in a white Ford van.
