Wild video captured an extremely reckless brawl involving at least seven people at the Lucky Strike Miami bowling alley in front of concerned onlookers.
According to videos posted on social media, the fight occurred around 12:45 a.m., with several objects and drinks thrown into the air by several different people. by “Only in Dade”
The altercation turned violent when multiple bowling balls were grabbed from the return system and thrown at other brawlers.
“Bowling balls were being thrown left and right,” Miami Police Department spokesman Michael Vega said. he told WSVN. “Not only were they fighting, but bowling balls were being thrown.”
At one point, two women wrestled over one ball, and the shorter of the two broke free and ran toward the other.
The other woman then grabbed another ball and threw it at the first combatant, hitting him in the side of the head and knocking him to the floor.
“What’s crazy is that two groups would get into such a heated argument,” Vega said.
The person who appears to have thrown it then picked up another ball and threw it toward the rest of the crowd before someone finally grabbed her and pushed her away from the waiting projectile.
By the time police arrived at the bowling alley, both parties to the fight had fled the scene, the newspaper reported.
Police are currently searching for both women as they may face criminal charges.
“We are looking for both the victim and the suspect in this case, and both may face charges,” Vega added. “First, they destroyed the facility, so it will be investigated as criminal mischief.
“Next, we’re looking at aggravated battery of a bowling ball that was thrown and hit the victim in the head.”
The extent of the woman’s injuries from the ball is unknown because police have not located her.
No other injuries were reported after the scuffle.
It’s unclear how the altercation started, but investigators were interviewing witnesses and security personnel at Lucky Strike Miami on Tuesday night. According to WPLG.
Lucky Strike Miami recently opened on March 25th inside the mixed-use Miami Worldcenter under construction in downtown Miami.
