A 23-year-old Florida woman faces additional charges after posing as a 14-year-old girl online to meet and sexually abuse a teenage boy, authorities said.
Tampa resident Alyssa Ann Zinger was arrested for a second time on Thursday and charged with additional counts of sex offense with a minor after four more victims came forward. WFLA reported.
She was first arrested in November on suspicion of having at least 30 sexual acts with at least one middle school student between the ages of 12 and 15 and sending explicit videos to several more, according to an arrest report.
The accused predator allegedly created a fake persona on social media as a home-schooled 14-year-old and communicated with the minor, who attends Wilson Middle School in Tampa’s Hyde Park neighborhood, primarily through Snapchat. has been done.
Tampa police said at the time that they believed there were more victims.
After her initial arrest, she was charged with two counts of lewd or lascivious assault and five counts of lewd or lascivious sexual abuse.
On Thursday, authorities charged two counts of lewd or lascivious sexual abuse (12 to 15 victims), two counts of lewd or lascivious assault, possession of child pornography, intrastate transmission of child pornography by electronic device, and sexual cyber harassment. Added sin.
According to arrest documents, the first victim told police the two had sex multiple times and that Zinger sent explicit photos and videos, and another victim posted videos on Snapchat depicting sex. He reportedly stated that he had sent the money to several children through the company. She also told one of the victims that she had sex with other teens.
Zinger and one of the victims were arrested for shoplifting at Nordstrom in July. According to her search warrant, she continued to try to front her and told police she was born in 2009, but police could not confirm that.
According to the documents, officers were able to find information about Alyssa Zinger, who was born in 2001, but when questioned, Zinger desperately lied and said she had a half-sister with the same name.
According to the warrant, police had been searching for Ginger for about a year.
Police learned she was lying after checking her educational and employment records and contacting her employer at Tampa Public, who confirmed she was an adult.
Just three months later, a victim came forward about Zinger’s alleged crimes.
