Houston Brunch Spot Shocked by SUV Crash During Food Review
During a routine YouTube food review, things took a dramatic turn in Houston, Texas. As influencers Nina Santiago and Patrick Blackwood were tasting salmon sliders at Cuvée, an SUV crashed through the restaurant’s front window.
Santiago was in the middle of filming their brunch experience when the unexpected happened. The video captured the moment chaos ensued, with glass shattering and staff reacting in shock. It was quite surreal, really—employees ducking for cover while shards of glass scattered across the floor.
In an Instagram post later, Santiago described the glass flying in as “out of nowhere.”
Injuries and Reflections
After the incident, both Santiago and Blackwood were taken to the hospital. They documented their emergency room visit, where they received treatment and stitches before being released. “This is the second accident of the month,” Santiago mentioned. “I want to break down and cry, but I just can’t.” Their thoughts echoed a sense of relief: “I’m just happy to be alive,” they emphasized throughout their video.
Santiago proceeded to share a contemplation on life via social media, noting how experiences like these prompt reevaluations of what truly matters. “Life is too short for resentment. Let go, forgive, and cherish your loved ones. This may have been our last meal,” she reflected.
The restaurant later reposted their video on Instagram, expressing gratitude that, despite the chaos, everyone was safe. What triggered this crash remains unclear, and queries have been directed to the Houston Police Department for further information.
