Footage of Shedeur Sanders' speeding stop sparks dating speculation

Chedur Sanders has recently found himself in the spotlight after being pulled over in Ohio this week for allegedly speeding over 100 mph. The 23-year-old, who is the son of NFL Hall of Famer Deion Sanders, was reportedly clocked going 101 mph in a 60 mph zone. He was in a vehicle with a woman named Jasmine Hammond, who was also stopped and recorded going 92 mph.

“I got you at 101 mph,” the officer mentioned in footage from his body camera, adding that he had also caught Hammond’s speeding. The body camera shows the officer expressing a bit of leniency regarding Hammond’s situation, stating, “I’m going to give your girl a break.”

The officer told Sanders, “I’m not going to give her a ticket…but 101, I got a dash cam and more.” This incident leaves Sanders with an option to pay a $250 fine or contest the tickets in court on July 3rd, as reported.

This isn’t the first time Sanders has been in trouble for speeding recently; just a couple of weeks earlier, he was cited for reaching 91 mph in a 65 mph zone. He has since reflected on his actions, stating, “I personally made some wrong choices and I can own them.” This admission came during a charity softball game alongside his Browns teammates.

Chedur Sanders is gearing up for his first NFL season after an eventful draft experience in April, where he was notably one of the more talked-about prospects. He was eventually selected in the fifth round by the Cleveland Browns as the 144th overall pick.

Now, he finds himself in a competitive quarterback room that includes veteran Joe Flacco, Kenny Pickett, and fellow rookie Dillon Gabriel. With starter Deshaun Watson expected to miss some time due to an Achilles injury, it remains uncertain who will lead the Browns in their opening game against the Bengals.
