Nadine Ayoub Advances in Miss Universe Competition

Nadine Ayoub, the first Miss Palestine contestant, is among the final 30 competitors for the Miss Universe title. This comes just hours after the Post reported on her secret marriage to the son of a convicted terrorist.

In recent days and weeks, Ayoub has participated in various qualifying events to earn her spot in the finals of the Miss Universe pageant, ultimately gathering enough support to continue her journey towards this prestigious title.

Contestants are evaluated on several criteria, including swimsuit and evening wear, interviews, and their platforms, all contributing to the final decision on who will be crowned the winner.

Her entry into the top 30 indicates she scored higher than at least 90 other competitors from around the globe.

The announcement, made shortly before 9 PM on Thursday, signals the beginning of the final phase of the Miss Universe competition, with the winner set to be revealed at the end of the event.

Screenshots and social media posts from past years, which were uncovered by the Post, show Ayoub had challenges in removing posts that indicated she was once married to Sharaf Barghouti. Barghouti is the son of Marwan Barghouti, a prominent Fatah leader currently serving multiple life sentences in Israel for his role in deadly terrorist operations in the early 2000s.

Ayoub and Sharaf Barghouti have a child together, who is named after the convicted terrorist.

Additionally, Miss USA has also been announced as one of the top 30 contestants this year, a pageant previously owned by President Trump.

The complete list of finalists includes representatives from Mexico, the Philippines, Zimbabwe, Costa Rica, Malta, Chile, Canada, Miss Universe Latina, Croatia, Venezuela, Guatemala, Palestine, Nicaragua, France, Paraguay, China, Thailand, Brazil, Rwanda, Ivory Coast, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Bangladesh, Cuba, Japan, Puerto Rico, the Netherlands, and India.
