Ford recalls nearly 2 million Explorers over trim part that could detach, create road hazard

Ford announced a recall for approximately 2 million Explorer SUVs over concerns that some of the exterior trim near the windshield may be peeling off, posing a traffic hazard to other drivers.

This recall affects approximately 1.9 million Explorers from 2011 to 2019 models.
