Austin Wolf Sentenced for Child Sex Crimes
Former adult film star Austin Wolf, whose real name is Justin Heath Smith, has been handed a 19-year prison sentence for numerous disturbing charges involving child sexual abuse. This includes attempts to assault a 7-year-old, according to announcements made by officials on Monday.
Smith, 44, expressed deep remorse as he confessed to sexually abusing a 15-year-old boy.
“The crimes committed by Justin Heath Smith against children are truly horrifying,” remarked Jay Clayton, a U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York, in a statement released on Monday.
Clayton emphasized the importance of keeping offenders like Smith away from communities, highlighting the importance of protecting children from such predators.
In 2023, Smith acknowledged engaging in sexual acts with a 15-year-old, mistakenly believing the boy to be of age, but he also involved another adult in these actions. The details provided by authorities reveal a pattern of attempts to solicit, meet, and even assault children.
Just prior to his arrest in April 2024, Smith allegedly arranged a meeting with the father of a 7-year-old, who was intended to facilitate abuse against his own child.
Before that, in January 2024, Smith reportedly devised a plan to exploit both an adult male and a 9-year-old, though the adult retreated from the arrangement. A month later, he attempted to lure a 14-year-old to his home in New York for sex, but that meeting never occurred.
In addition to these attempts, he sought out child sexual abuse materials and interacted with individuals he believed to be minors online, including one user claiming to be just 12 years old.
A search of Smith’s residence uncovered 75 files featuring very young children, alongside 1,291 files, including instances of child pornography, some of which depicted extreme violence.
Ultimately, Smith has been sentenced to 19 years behind bars and is required to pay a fine of $40,000.
