Former adult film actress reveals the alarming moment she discovered the industry promotes pedophilia

Brittni de la Mora decided to leave the adult film industry for good in December 2012 after spending seven years in it. A significant encounter with Jesus happened while she was on a flight to film what would turn out to be her last scene, giving her the resolve to fully embrace her Christian faith.

Now, alongside her husband, Pastor Richard de la Mora, she co-leads Love Always Ministries and Jesus Loves Porn Stars, two ministries that focus on helping individuals overcome porn addiction and reaching out to those still involved in the adult entertainment sector.

In a recent episode of “Relatable,” Allie Beth Stuckey welcomed Brittni to talk about her remarkable journey, touching on the moment she first recognized the darker side of the porn industry.

Starting her career at just 18, Brittni found success in the adult film world fairly quickly, often attributing this to her youth rather than her skills.

“When I entered the industry, I received many bookings based on being 18 and looking quite young,” she explained.

She noted, “They would style me in pigtails, costume jewelry, and outfits that resembled high school uniforms, often making me say, ‘Oh, I’m just 18.'”

Eventually, Brittni felt a shift within herself. “I thought, ‘Are you aware that this is promoting pedophilia?'” she recounted, adding that she confronted her agent about not wanting to participate in such shoots anymore.

Now that she’s distanced from that life and is helping others find freedom, her perspective on the industry’s pervasive evils has deepened.

“Being out of it now, I see how porn functions like a drug,” Brittni noted. “It releases massive amounts of dopamine, and eventually, merely watching what you once found fulfilling won’t be enough. You find yourself trying to recreate those experiences in real life.”

However, she warns that there will come a point where even those attempts won’t satisfy the need for novelty.

“It starts with hiring security, but that’s just the beginning. Some may even turn to their own children,” Brittni said.

“I truly attribute this to porn. [Pedophilia] becomes a craving fed by visuals that people engage with. Eventually, it won’t be sufficient.”

Brittni shared her reaction to a documentary about a man found with “6,000 images of child pornography.” She explained how he began with “morally acceptable” content, escalating over time until it became insufficient.
