Former ‘Bachelorette’ gives ‘Golden Bachelor’ Gerry Turner relationship advice: Keep it ‘private’

“Dancing with the Stars” contestant and former “Bachelorette” Charity Lawson gave “Golden Bachelor” Jerry Turner some relationship tips.

“My advice to them is, obviously, now that they’re public and moving forward with their relationship, take as much time as possible to really get to know each other outside of the camera world and what that bubble is.” That’s it,” Lawson said during the season finale of “Dancing with the Stars” with FOX News Digital.

“It’s completely different and the approach of how we have to adapt to it is different. We also have to keep our relationships private. Not everyone needs to know everything.”

Lawson was the star of season 20 of this year’s The Bachelorette, but recently Golden Bachelor Turner proposed to his new fiancée Theresa Nist. Lawson was engaged to Dotun Orubeko from her season on the show.

Before becoming the first “Golden Bachelor” to become engaged, Turner told the final two contestants that he loved them both. Turner eventually said goodbye to Leslie Fima and chose Teresa as her final choice.

“There are rules like exercise, stretching, lifting maintenance, and I’m at a stage in my life where I do it because I can. And I don’t like the alternative,” he laughed.

“I’m going to take the rest of this month off to get my knee back on track, and then I’m off to my next exciting adventure.”

When season 32 came to a close, musician Jason Mraz and his professional partner Daniela Karagach took second place.

This is Chmerkovskiy’s third win at this competition.

She won again in 2015 with actress Rumer Willis and in 2016 with gymnast Laurie Hernandez.
