Former ‘Bachelorette’ star left ‘cutthroat’ Hollywood for ‘quiet’ family life in Nashville

Ali Fedotovsky-Manno has no regrets about leaving Los Angeles for good.

The “Bachelorette” star appeared on Savannah Chrisley's “Unlocked” podcast, released Tuesday, and gave insight into her decision to leave the West Coast for a quieter life with her husband and two children.

Fedotovsky-Manno, 40, first rose to fame as a contestant on Season 14 of The Bachelor and returned a year later as the star of Season 6 of the popular dating series, The Bachelorette.

Her engagement to “Bachelorette” winner Roberto Martinez didn't last long, but she later found love in the arms of radio and TV host Kevin Manno.

The couple married in March 2017 and have two children.

“We lived in LA. We both worked in the entertainment industry and my husband was a radio host. …Up until the day I left Los Angeles, I worked in television for the Hallmark Channel. ” Fedotovsky Manno told Chrisley.

“I told my agent, 'I'm done.' I don't want to work in Hollywood anymore. I'm done with this business. I want to move to Nashville with my family. I want to live a quiet little life. ' And that's what we did. ”

Chrisley was curious as to why the former TV star decided to step away from the bright lights of Hollywood.

“There's a lot of bullying in the entertainment industry, and I don't think people see it,” Fedotovsky-Manno said.

“It was very harsh and I just felt a lot of hate in different situations. … I didn't care about any of that.”

Furthermore, she added: I'm tired of it. 'I really wanted to get that out of my life. But after moving, I realized that things like that exist everywhere, just in different forms. There is always a social hierarchy in every circle. ”

Despite the inevitable “class” ring, the former reality star, who appeared on Season 3 of “Special Forces: The World's Toughest Test,” says her family has a deep love for Nashville. I admitted it. However, she has some regrets about leaving Los Angeles.

“Sometimes, especially in the fall, I drive around and look at the trees and think, 'Oh, it's so beautiful here!'” I suffer from some pretty bad allergies. Allergies here are insane so I can't love it as much. ”

Chrisley agreed. “They're completely crazy. They say if only they had local honey every morning…”

“Yes,” she insisted. “I'm telling you…I've spent a lot of money on this allergy problem. I've been to everything from chiropractors to acupuncture to massages. I actually had a lymphatic facial massage this weekend, which is different from a full body massage. I also do red light therapy and saunas.

“I've been to multiple ENT doctors. I take allergy medication. I make local honey. I have machines like these. I do sinus irrigation. ”

Manno said the only thing she hasn't tried so far is surgery to correct her deviated nasal septum.
