Jennifer Welch Rants Against Trump Voters on Podcast

Former Bravo reality TV personality Jennifer Welch expressed her frustration during a podcast episode on Thursday, calling for a boycott of Trump supporters in restaurants across Mexico and China.

“I went to a hairdresser, you know, sometimes it’s all the same crowd—the white folks at the Triple. They stroll right into Mexican, Chinese, and Indian restaurants,” she remarked. “It’s a bit mind-boggling.” She recounted witnessing people engrossed in their phones at a Mexican restaurant, suggesting that there’s a lot of tension related to the Trump administration’s immigration policies.

“Honestly, I can hardly enjoy anything aside from a cracker barrel,” Welch stated. She continued, “If you’re part of this Trump crowd and if you want to make waves for marginalized communities, well, that’s a problem too.”

She didn’t hold back, describing Trump in stark terms and making strong assertions about those who voted for him. “Those individuals should be kept away from experiencing America’s wonderful multiculturalism,” she explained, emphasizing the diversity of dining options. Her co-host, Angie “Pump” Sullivan, echoed her sentiments and even took it further by criticizing female Trump supporters.

Sullivan stated, “I want you to relinquish all control over your finances. You shouldn’t have a credit card in your name or even a bank account. Let’s face it, when they talk about making America great again, they really mean fewer rights for women.”

Both women starred in Bravo’s show “Sweet Home: Oklahoma” in 2017.

In response, White House spokesperson Abigail Jackson criticized Welch’s remarks as disconnected from reality, pointing out Trump’s diverse coalition of supporters. “Wealthy liberal women may champion diversity until it challenges their own perceptions. Trump was elected by a diverse group of Americans across all backgrounds,” she noted.
