Former British Prime Minister Liz Truss is scheduled to speak at this year’s Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), Breitbart News has exclusively revealed.
Truss, who served as British Prime Minister for 50 days from early September to late October 2022, is scheduled to address an annual conservative gathering just outside the US capital, Washington, DC, in late February.
Organized by the American Conservative Union (ACU), CPAC will be held from February 21st to February 24th at the Gaylord Resort and Conference Center in National Harbor, Maryland, just outside Washington.
Sources told Breitbart News that Truss’ speech comes as conservatives here in the United States draw attention to the international victories for the right in South America, Asia, Europe and around the world. It is said that it was carried out in

Mr Truss succeeded former Prime Minister Boris Johnson, who was eventually succeeded by current Prime Minister Rishi Sunak. Conservative Party member Truss remains a British MP from south-west Norfolk.
This year’s European Parliament elections, among other major elections scheduled around the world, could shift international power away from the left and toward conservatives. Late December, Foreign Policy magazine published a work Leftists are warning that Western countries could increase conservative influence around the world in 2024, starting with Taiwan’s new presidential election and continuing throughout the year if this trend holds. It will continue.
Arguing that conservative populism is dangerous, the article argues that the European Parliament elections scheduled for summer 2024 will be the “most explosive moment” on the world stage this year in terms of the right’s return to global power. ”, it warns.
Foreign Policy’s John Kumpner writes: “The quadrennial reorganization of Europac has always been seen in the UK as an opportunity to act more frivolously than usual.” “In 2014, British voters, in their immense wisdom, placed Nigel Farage and his UK Independence Party in the lead, setting in motion a chain of events that led to the Brexit referendum two years later. Having seen the damage caused by leaving, voters in the 27 remaining EU member states do not want their country to leave alone. However, many are using this opportunity to support populist alternatives. By choosing this option, they will express their antipathy towards mainstream politics. Some may consider the European Parliament to be less important and see this as a lower risk option.”

“It is entirely possible that the various factions of the far right will emerge as a single, dominant force,” Kampfner said.
“While this may not lead to a change in the composition of the European Commission (the declining mainstream will still have a majority), the rise of such extremists will change the overall power relations across Europe. “Maybe,” he added.
Former US President Donald Trump, who is likely to be the Republican candidate in 2024, is rooting for the victory of international conservative populism. In a late December interview with Breitbart News at Mar-a-Lago, President Trump said the sensation sweeping the globe is “essentially the MAGA Trump movement.”
“This is the Trump movement,” he said.
President Trump was particularly pleased with the victory of Argentina’s new president, Javier Millei.
“A guy from Argentina said the greatest man in the whole world is Donald Trump. He called me right after he won. I’ve never talked to him. He called me to thank me,” Trump told Breitbart News. “I said, ‘Oh, why do you want to thank me?’ ‘Your policies paved the way for this,’ he said. he has everything The night he won the election, he called me and thanked me very much. It’s called “Make Argentina Great Again.” He’s wearing a MAGA hat. ”
CPAC, one of the conservative movement’s largest annual gatherings dating back decades, has long focused on international conservative victories, but this year’s organizers say is likely to make further progress in that regard. More information on this topic may be announced in the near future.
