Former Dallas Cowboys Pro Bowl cornerback Mike Jenkins got into an altercation at a bar in Florida late Saturday night. According to TMZ.
The site featured footage of a 39-year-old man yelling at a security guard at the Kenwood Bar in St. Petersburg, Florida, visibly angry with an employee for losing his credit card.
The report said Jenkins first became angry inside the bar and then continued his verbal abuse outside, when he was heard yelling, “Give me back my mother card!”
Local police told TMZ that officers were dispatched to the bar shortly after 1:30 a.m. Sunday to investigate a “fight or disturbance.”
A St. Petersburg police spokesperson said no arrests had been made, but added that Jenkins had been issued a trespassing warning.
Jenkins did not respond to a request for comment as of Sunday.
A first-round pick out of South Florida in 2008, he played eight years in the NFL, including five years with the Cowboys, two years with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and one year with the Oakland Raiders.
