Steve Cortez, a former spokesman for Ron DeSantis' Never Back Down super PAC, has now endorsed Trump in the 2024 presidential election and believes he will be the next US president. He expressed his expectations.

Cortez previously served as an advisor to Trump's campaigns in 2016 and 2020, but ended the 2020 campaign after claiming that Donald Trump had carried out “vicious attacks” against former staffers. He left the Trump campaign soon after.
He then joined DeSantis (R-Fla.)'s Never Back Down Super Pac. In May 2023, he argued that Florida's governor is “the best choice to be elected president in 2024 and govern as a highly capable, patriotic populist leader.”
