A former male escort is upset after being linked to Sean “Diddy” Combs in a sex trafficking trial. He strongly rejects claims of having a “freak-off” with rapper ex-Cathy Ventura.
Vin Armani was named by Ventura as one of those paid to take part in the troubling sexual encounter.
However, Armani, who previously appeared on Showtime’s reality show “Gigolos,” contends that he has been wrongfully identified and criticizes prosecutors for not reaching out to him for his side of the story.
“This really affected me,” he expressed. “I never engaged in violence, illegal drugs, or prostitution, nor did I witness any of it involving Cathy,” he stated.
Although he confesses to regularly mingling with many celebrities, he insists he is not among the so-called “freak-offs” at the center of the case against Combs.
“If any lawyers or authorities had contacted me, they would have clearly seen that,” he asserted.
Armani, who authored a book about his life as an escort in 2011, shared his frustration about how these allegations emerged just as he was trying to begin anew with a focus on technology after relocating to Saipan, a small Pacific island.
He’s particularly angered by a now-deleted TMZ article that referred to him as “Jour,” connecting him to the infamous 2016 incident at the InterContinental Hotel in Century City, Los Angeles, where Combs was recorded in a violent altercation with Ventura.
“This TMZ nonsense and the prosecution’s failure to act professionally have damaged my reputation,” he complained.
Combs, 55, faces accusations of leveraging his fame and wealth to control Ventura through a decade of intimidation, effectively coercing her and others into a series of drug-fueled sex marathons.
He has pleaded not guilty to the charges and, if convicted, could face life imprisonment. The trial is set to continue on May 27th.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York has not yet responded to requests regarding Armani’s allegations.
