Woman Fabricates Attack with Political Message

The U.S. Attorney’s Office has revealed that a woman who suffered severe injuries to her body was not a victim of a violent attack but rather orchestrated the entire incident herself. Natalie Green, 26, was discovered on the night of July 23 with extensive cuts on her abdomen and bound with zip ties that bore the words “Trump Whore.”

At the time, Green was working for Republican U.S. Representative Jeff Van Drew of New Jersey and was a student at Rutgers University.

Investigators obtained images of body modification designs that Green had requested from a scarification artist, revealing that the wounds correlated with the ones documented by police.

Green reportedly told authorities that she and three friends were assaulted by three armed men in a wooded area of Egg Harbor Township. When law enforcement arrived, they found her screaming about a gun.

A message stating “Van Drew is a racist” was also inscribed on her body with a marker. She was subsequently taken to a hospital for treatment, where police documented her injuries as part of the criminal complaint.

Suspicion arose when Green’s friend seemed anxious when asked for his car keys, a Maserati SUV. Upon investigation, police found black zip ties and duct tape inside.

Authorities later retrieved cell phone records showing that Green had visited a scarification studio in Pennsylvania shortly before the alleged attack. In addition, evidence suggested that someone had searched for “zip ties near me” from the friend’s phone. Investigators also learned that Green had purchased zip ties at a Dollar General store on the day of the supposed incident.

Evidence from the scarification studio indicated that Green had paid $500 for body modification mere hours before the attack; clients are required to provide identification and sign a consent form for such services.

A statement released by Van Drew’s office expressed concern for Green’s well-being, saying, “While Natalie is no longer affiliated with the Congressional Office, our thoughts and prayers are with her and we hope she receives the care she needs.”

Green now faces charges including conspiracy to provide false information and making false statements to federal law enforcement. Each charge carries a potential maximum penalty of five years in prison and a $250,000 fine. She has been released on $200,000 unsecured bail following her arraignment.
