Former JP Morgan analyst, 24, discovered deceased at the home of an acclaimed bartender

A recent investigation has uncovered that Julia Fan, a 24-year-old who recently left her impressive analyst role at JP Morgan, was once distinguished as America’s “most imaginative bartender” while working for a prominent nightlife figure near Boston.

Fan tragically passed away following a party she attended with renowned mixologist Duane, 38. This was reported by The Boston Globe on Tuesday.

Emergency services were called in a panic the following morning by Duane, who stated that Fan had been extremely intoxicated at a concert the previous night, as captured in audio clips from the outlet.

“We need an ambulance now,” Duane was heard saying. He described arriving home and finding her lifeless on the couch. “I just woke up. I’m here,” he added.

Authorities later determined that Fan’s death resulted from MDMA poisoning.

This revelation left her friends and family in confusion.

Fan had recently left her job at the bank after being invited out by Duane, a local nightlife celebrity, to attend a concert on New Year’s Day at a Brighton venue called Road Runner.

“Want a recreational enchantment?” he texted her, which his spokesperson clarified referred to marijuana. Fan declined the offer politely.

After the concert, Duane drove her home to Burlington, about a 20-minute drive. Security footage later showed her appearing distressed around 2 a.m.

Hours later, Duane contacted 911 again, mentioning that she seemed warm but blue, and expressed worry, asking if she was awake.

Emergency responders pronounced her dead upon arrival. Security tape reviewed by the Globe revealed that while Duane claimed he hadn’t seen her consume anything, some witnesses observed her putting something in her mouth, but it remains unclear what it was.

“It was like a light switch,” an officer noted on the scene. One report indicated the officer overheard Duane mentioning that Fan “really feels Molly.”

The news of Fan’s death came as a shock to her loved ones, who expressed that she had not shown signs of drug obsession and typically didn’t drink much.

Days after her passing, Duane reportedly posted videos of himself partying in Tulum, Mexico, as if unaffected by the incident.

State officials concluded that Fan died from an overdose in April.

Duan, who manages several popular venues in the area, declined to provide further details about the incident, indicating that investigators have advised not to comment publicly.

No formal claims regarding the case have been made.

“Julia was one of the kindest, sweetest people, and I am devastated by her passing,” Duane expressed. He stated that he will respect the ongoing investigation and, above all, Julia’s privacy, while keeping her family and friends in his thoughts.

Fan’s family has also refrained from publicly discussing her death.
