Isaiah Hartenstein has decided not to return to the New York Knicks and will instead move to Oklahoma City.
On Saturday, Thunder general manager Sam Presti announced that the 26-year-old had agreed to a three-year contract with the team worth an estimated $87 million, according to ESPN.
The 7-foot-1 center and his wife, Courtney Keller, recently celebrated the birth of their baby boy. The couple and their newborn son were given a warm welcome by Hartenstein’s new team when they arrived at the Paycom Center over the weekend.

Keller shared a heartfelt post about his family’s experience with the Thunder organization.
“I’m still amazed at all the little things that were thought up to make our family feel welcome during our weekend in Oklahoma City. Thank you for the generosity. We look forward to joining the @okcthunder Thunder family,” Keller captioned a social media post containing photos and videos, using the Thunder Up hashtag.

Hartenstein and Keller married in California in 2023. Earlier this year, the couple announced they were expecting their first child.
Hartenstein’s parents and sister also attended the special reception at the Thunder’s home arena.

Keller also shared photos from inside the private jet, as well as a balloon that read, “Welcome the Hartenstein Family.”

Hartenstein spent the past two seasons with the Knicks and appeared in all 82 games in the 2022-23 season, after appearing in 75 games last year.
He started 49 games through the 2023-24 season, averaging 7.8 points and 8.3 rebounds per game.

The Thunder likely enter next season with high expectations after winning 57 regular-season games last season and earning the top seed in the Western Conference playoffs.
